One of the largest and most successful professional service companies in the world, KPMG engaged Contra to underpin its highest profile marketing activities with robust and innovative digital solutions.
We started the journey with KPMG at the KPMG’s Global Lead Partners conference in New York, where we were commissioned to devise a neat solution, which had to be accessible across all devices; mobiles, tablets and laptops.
Contra designed and built a mobile-optimised site that was so successful, it was able to replace paper entirely and since then the platform has continued to grow and develop.
The Digital Event Ecosystem, which has been built by Contra, is a series of innovative applications that are used throughout the event process. Starting with promotion to the registration and check in, and then following through to the mobile app used during the event, which gives delegates a personalised agenda of sessions, based upon what they had signed up for in the registration. Real-time interaction and live polls during presentations are also enabled. Results can be displayed live during a talk and questions can be posted to the moderator, to enhance the discussion and engagement during the conference. It can also act as a digital directory, allowing delegates to view information on each other and the speakers.
This has been a huge success, cited as one of the highlights of the event and universally praised for its look, functionality and performance.
